LOCATION
The Festival is held in exotic and sun-drenched Miami and Miami Beach. South Florida's rich blend of cultures and tropical setting make it an ideal vacation destination. In addition to classes and performances, South Florida's bustling urban setting offers Festival participants a multitude of attractions, sightseeing tours, museums and galleries, shops, sidewalk cafés and colorful nightlife to explore and enjoy. We encourage you to bring family and friends along to enjoy the sun, sand, cool Atlantic Ocean and all that makes South Florida one of the most exciting places to explore. Visit www.miami.citysearch.com to discover more of what we have to offer.

FACILITIES
Festival classes and workshops are held in state-of-the-art dance studios and classrooms at New World School of the Arts, 25 NE 2nd Street, in downtown Miami. The school is a short walk from the recommended downtown hotel. Evening performances are held in venues in both Miami and Miami Beach. Transportation is provided to Miami Beach events.

TRAVEL
Two major airports serve the South Florida area. Miami International Airport (MIA) is 15-minutes from downtown Miami, and Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood International Airport (FLL) is a 45-minute drive from Miami. SuperShuttle service is available from both airports. Visit
www.supershuttle.com or call 305-871-2000 for fare information and reservations. Taxi service is also available from both airports. From Miami International Airport (MIA) taxi fare to downtown Miami is approximately $25-$28, and $28-$32 to Miami Beach. Taxi fare will be considerably more expensive from the Fort Lauderdale airport. Most major car rental companies offer great summer discounts. Miami is also accessible through the major bus companies and by Amtrak train, which connects to the city's MetroRail service and the PeopleMover system in downtown Miami. There are PeopleMover stops within one-block of New World School of the Arts and the Marriott Courtyard Hotel.
